LFC Foundation Community Fund supporting Radio City Cash for Kids

£100,000 of the funds raised from the LFC Foundation Legends Charity Match 2019 will be donated to charities across Merseyside.

The fund aims to help grassroots charities in Merseyside that support children and young people who are disabled, disadvantaged or suffering from abuse or neglect; which supports the LFC Foundation’s mission to create life-changing opportunities for children and young people.

About the Community Fund

The Fund has been organised in association with Radio City Cash for Kids, which will support the administration of the fund and the allocation of individual grants.

Registered charities and constituted community groups / clubs who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to apply for grants of up to £3,000, and potentially more in exceptional circumstances.

The £100,000 fund will be awarded to charities during the next 12 months, with two application windows - June and September 2019.

Applications received by 10th June will be considered in the first grant round meeting (25th/26th June), then applications made from 11th June to 16th September will be considered in the second grant round of funding.

Criteria

  • The standard Cash for Kids eligibility criteria and exclusions apply (available here)
  • Applications will be considered from registered charities and constituted community groups / clubs in Merseyside only
  • Applications should aim to support at least one of the LFC Foundation’s key impact areas of Wellbeing (living happy and healthy), Skills (achieving success in life) and Communities (inspiring lives together)
  • The total fund available is £100,000
  • The maximum that will be given for each grant is £3,000 (unless in exceptional circumstances)
