LFC Foundation join forces with Right To Play on LFC’s pre-season tour

Liverpool FC CEO and LFC Foundation Vice-Chair Billy Hogan joined LFC Foundation CEO Matt Parish, Liverpool FC Legend Sami Hyypia and representatives of Right To Play in Bangkok for a very special community coaching session led by LFC Foundation coaches.

The LFC Foundation, in partnership with Right To Play and supported by DKSH have teamed up on pre-season tour, to run a soccer clinic at the Denla British School in Bangkok, as part of the ‘Side By Side’ programme.

In total, 45 children and young people attended from our Side By Side programme as well as members OLSC Thailand and OLSC Siam. DKSH employees acted as the on-site translators for the coaches and the participants to enhance communication and understanding whilst also supplying healthy snacks and beverages for the participants to fuel up on the side-lines before kicking off the session.

The LFC Foundation and Right To Play are working Side By Side, using the power of sport and play to transform the lives of vulnerable children at home and away. To date, Side By Side has supported 3,000 children and young people in some of the most high need communities in Bangkok. It has also funded the rehabilitation of four play spaces to provide a safe and welcoming environment, helping children rise above adversity and empower them to learn, lead and succeed.
