Register with Works Today: LFC Foundation's Virtual Employability Programme

Launched in May 2020 in response to the economic impact of COVID-19, Works has been designed to provide support for those who were unemployed before the pandemic, have recently become unemployed, or who are at risk of unemployment due to the current situation.

Here at the LFC Foundation, we care about getting local people back into work.

How it works:

The are four elements to the programme – delivered on a 1-2-1 basis by either telephone or video call and will last 30 minutes.

1. Careers Uncovered

Gain useful advice from experienced LFC staff members working in your preferred industry.

2. CV and Cover Letter Support

Our employability experts will review your CV and cover letters and provide guidance and recommendations for creating a standout application.

3. Interview Practice

Mock interviews are an excellent way of preparing you for the real thing! Our friendly LFC staff team will provide real-time feedback to help hone your interview techniques.

4. Local Liverpool Job Search

Our team will identify local Liverpool job opportunities and support you through your application process.

30 Minute Video Call:

You'll be matched with a volunteer from the LFC Foundation, or a member of staff from Liverpool Football Club.

In a 30 minute video call with them, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Test your skills
  • To practise and prepare
  • Recieve constructive feedback

This is a pick n mix programme, so you can take part in as few or as many of the elements as you wish.

Works is designed to give you the skills and confidence you need, to continue in your hunt for work.
