LFC Foundation Update on Coronavirus

News

LFC Foundation is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our colleagues and the people we support and engage with through our programmes, projects and partnerships.

We are closely monitoring the ongoing impact of Coronavirus, taking guidance from the Government, NHS and public health bodies.

We recognise that cases of the virus are increasing across the UK.

As a provider and employer, it’s our duty to make sure we’re doing everything we can to play our part in helping to delay the spread of the virus and protect the people we support and colleagues as much as possible.

To do so, we have taken proactive measures and are also working closely with our partners and the Club to share best practice and collaborate on contingency planning.

Polite notice to visitors and those who attend our sessions

Any visitor or participant displaying symptoms that are consistent with coronavirus should ensure they familiarise themselves with the chief medical officer’s advice on self-isolation.

We also echo the advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO), and urge visitors and participants to familiarise themselves with basic protective measures against the new coronavirus.

We will continue to take the best advice from the relevant authorities and will continue to share updates with any further developments.
