Respect 4 All U16s Awards

Anfield played host to Liverpool FC Foundation’s Under 16 Respect 4 All players last week, gathering to celebrate their annual awards evening.

The ceremony saw over fifty participants and their families attend the event which recognises the hard work of the players from the Foundation’s Under 13 and Under 16 teams, which train in both Liverpool and Wirral.

Throughout the evening, medals and certificates were presented by LFC Foundation coaching staff and a free raffle was held which included signed LFC items and New Balance goody bags.

Respect 4 All, which is supported by the Premier League Charitable Fund, offers sport provision for young people and adults with severe complex and addition needs. The programme aims to help everyone fulfil their potential in different ways, from helping them to train to supporting young people’s participation.

Respect 4 All project lead, Ryan Moingard said “It’s fantastic that we are able to host so many of the families who come to Respect 4 All at Anfield for this awards. Their dedication to the Respect 4 All programme always astounds me and the awards evening gives participants the opportunity to celebrate all achievements throughout the season, and also help the families socialise with other families who they might not usually see. We are already looking forward to the 2016/2017 season and may have some new innovative activities that will  help with further inclusion.”

Andrea Cooper, head of the LFC Foundation said: “Respect 4 All is a fantastic programme which offers inclusive sport for all. We are delighted to welcome so many of our participants to Anfield to celebrate many fantastic achievements. The LFC Foundation strives to inspire participants to reach their full potential, whilst encouraging a healthy lifestyle and improving life chances.”
